I have worked in Information Technology for over 30 years.   16 years ago,  I began my own business  providing house calls to those in need of computer repair and support.  My focus is on respecting clients, addressing their technology needs and providing expert service.

 

What can I expect at a home consultation with the Geek on the Go?

I will listen to your computer problems, work to resolve them and provide instruction along the way.  This may include cleaning your computer of viruses and spyware, replacing broken hardware, installing new equipment, creating or maintaining a network, advising on future tech needs, etc.

 

How long does it normally take to get an appointment?

Thanks to the terrific response I have had to my business, I am busier than ever!  I can usually service my customers within a few days, but during extremely busy times it would not be impossible to have to wait a week.

What does it cost?

​

I charge $70/hour (excludes tax)  I do not have a home visit fee.  There is a 1 hour minimum.

​
